Genderless, Sostenibili e Made in Italy: queste le caratteristiche degli occhiali da vista e sole TBD Eyewear, un progetto conscious di alto design pensato a Milano e realizzato artigianalmente in Cadore.

 

I prodotti sono il frutto di una capillare attenzione al dettaglio, acquisita in storiche botteghe a conduzione familiare. Il grado di artigianalità è massimo, la produzione etica e interamente Made in Italy, dalle lastre in bio-acetato alle cerniere montate a mano, giungendo perfino alle viti, prodotte da una piccola azienda veneta, su stampi recuperati dagli anni ’30.

 

Il brand, fondato da Fabio Attanasio e Andrea Viganò - imprenditori appassionati di artigianato Made in Italy, digital e internazionalizzazione - è pioniere dal 2020 sulle tematiche di sostenibilità nel mondo dell’Eyewear, e continua ad incalzare con impegno verso l’ambizioso obbiettivo di una produzione interamente “green”.

ECOSOSTENIBILITÀ

 

TBD Eyewear estende la sua anima green non solo alle montature più iconiche (ricordiamo le varianti Earth Bio, Eco Green, Blue Ocean, Eco Black, Eco Transparent, Eco Havana e Eco Dark Tortoise), ma anche al packaging: un altro passo gentile verso il mondo, 100% ecosostenibile, 100% elegante.

La classica confezione verde è in cartone riciclato, garantito FSC; la custodia rigida, che conserva e protegge gli occhiali da vista o da sole, è all’esterno in cotone riciclato, nel tipico verde TBD Eyewear, e all’interno è rivestita in PET. Anche il panno in microfibra è in plastica completamente riciclata.

Lo fa con montature ecologiche in bio-acetato che, grazie alla loro formulazione a base di cellulosa estratta dalle fibre del cotone e del legno, risultano  prive di sostanze chimiche tossiche, per essere biodegradabili e riciclabili al 100%, pur mantenendo tutte le caratteristiche e le performance dell’acetato tradizionale. TBD Eyewear continua a credere in una collezione ecologica ed etica che scommette su pregiati materiali sostenibili per ridurre al minimo l’impatto ambientale e sostenere l’artigianalità italiana con una produzione realizzata interamente nel nostro territorio, senza mai rinunciare al gusto per il design che da sempre ci contraddistingue.

The eyeglasses and sunglasses brand, a perfect combination of Italian design and sustainability, once again strengthens commitment and research by aiming for entirely "green" collections.

The products are the result of a capillary attention to detail, acquired in historic family-run shops. The degree of craftsmanship is maximum, the production is ethical and entirely Made in Italy, from the bio-acetate sheets to the hand-assembled hinges, even reaching the screws, produced by a small Venetian company, on molds recovered from the 1930s.

ECO-SUSTAINABILITY

 

TBD Eyewear extends its green soul not only to the most iconic frames (we recall the Earth Bio, Eco Green, Blue Ocean, Eco Black, Eco Transparent, Eco Havana and Eco Dark Tortoise variants), but also to packaging: another gentle step towards the world, 100% eco-sustainable, 100% elegant.

The classic green packaging is in recycled cardboard, FSC guaranteed; the hard case, which stores and protects the eyeglasses or sunglasses, is made of recycled cotton on the outside, in the typical TBD Eyewear green, and is lined with PET on the inside. The microfiber cloth is also made from completely recycled plastic.
